A Not So Interesting Day

Well, it's 2:00pm and I have yet to hear something remotely intelligent or worthwhile. I have entered time in all day..... probably about 10 pages worth, possibly thousands of dollars worth of time. It's amazing how much lawyers get paid, while they're office staff barely make enough to get by (atleast I don't).

If you didn't know it already, my name is Sarah. I'm 20 years old, and I work as a receptionist for a small lawfirm in my hometown. I've lived here my entire life and up until I moved out on my own, I lived in the same house my entire life. I went to a small school and a small church with my parents and my younger brother. I don't have a very exciting life, but I guess everyone has there own story to tell.

My senior year in high school I started dating the love of my life. I was 17 at the time, and Justin was 19. He was a high school drop out trying to get his GED and my mother didn't like him. But you have to remember that my mother is a teacher, education is her life. She grew to love him, I always knew she would, but it just took a lot of time.

A year after we started dating, Justin asked me to marry him in Pigeon Forge, TN. A little redneck, I know, but considering how shy and quiet my husband is... I didn't care where we were or how he asked, as long as I got to spend the rest of my life with him. A month later I turned 19, and started planning the biggest day of my life.

On September 15, 2007 I walked down the aisle with my daddy on my right, and my Papaw Steve to my left. It was a beautiful ceremony, with a little rock n' roll at the end. I didn't mention it before, but I married a KISS freak. We left the church rocking out to "I Wanna Rock N' Roll All Night!", and I will never forget watching the pastor of my church dancing to KISS!

So here we are, Justin and I have been married for almost 8 months and we are planning on embarking on a new journey in our lives. We've decided to move to Sevier County, TN, and yes, that is the home of country singer, Dolly Parton. My husband has always dreamed of living in the area, and I will follow him wherever he wants to go.... as long as I stay in my mountains!

A lot of people think we're too young to be married, and a lot of people think we are too immature to be doing a lot of the things we have succeeded in doing. We're not trying to prove anyone wrong, but we always do whatever it takes to make our dreams happen.

So... I leave you with this...

"Keep your eyes open, hold tight to your convictions, give it all you've got, be resolute, and love without stopping."
I Corinthians 16:13-14
