I'm stealing this little blog entry from Boogie's birthday buddy's mommy....

•If I were to get pregnant again... I would be ecstatic! I can't wait to have another squishy itty bitty baby in my arms! I just pray that it doesn't take as long as it did to conceive Boogie!

•If I could have any job in the world... I would still be a SAHM. Best. Job. Ever.

•If I had a day to myself... I would clean the house from top to bottom, rearrange the bedrooms the way I really want to, veg out on the couch, take a nap, watch movies... and de-stress. Oh man... that sounds AAAAA-mazing!

•If I could get married all over again... I probably would have skipped the big hoo-rah, invited our immediate family and friends and headed to the beach for a more intimate, beautiful setting.

•If I could live anywhere in the US... as long as we stay somewhere near the mountains I'll be happy!

•If Boogie would have been a boy she would have been named (or your baby girl a boy) Cooper Frank. Cooper is just a name we like and Frank was my paternal grandfather's name.

•If I could have any talent in the world... I wish I was craftier. I want to sew as well as my momma, quilt as well as my momma, knit, crochet, scrapbook.... I want to be crafty!

•If you met me in real life you would probably say... hmmm... I have no idea! Probably that I'm nuts, or shy, or weird. Who knows!?

•If I could go back to school and get a different degree... honestly, if I knew that Boogie was going to come along when she did I would have postponed school until after we were done having kids. I HATE spreading my time between homework and Boogie. I want a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Christian Counseling.-

•If money were not an object... we'd buy the home of our dreams, travel more, adopt lots of kiddos, donate $$ to several ministries... and then help our parents pay of debts and live comfortably.

•If I could meet one celebrity ... the only celebrity I would want to meet is Ray Charles... and he died :(

•If I could only shop at one store for the rest of my life ... well I guess that would mean it would have to be somewhere you can get pretty much anything so... Super Target.

•If we get another pet I would want... a pet rock. I think I'm done having pets :(

•If I could go on a trip, RIGHT NOW... we'd go to Fort Walton Beach, FL or to Orlando...

•If I had to chose between a house cleaner and a personal chef... I don't have to pick... I already have both. No really! My husband loves to clean AND cook! ;-)

•If I had the option of plastic surgery... I wouldn't accept it. Honestly. I want to lose weight on my own, tone my body up on my own. I know that my body will never be super thin, my boobs will never be the same, and that my skin will forever have stretch marks... but it also bears the marks of pregnancy and the months I held my children in my womb, the time I spent holding them in my arms nursing them... and the love I had for them. No way I'm messing those marks up!

That's right... bored. Justin cleaned everything today, Boogie is asleep, J is asleep... and I'm not all that interested in reading or watching a movie... so here's a random survey!

How Far along were you when you found out?: 5 weeks 1 day

Still with the father?: We've been married since 2007

What was your first reaction when you found out you were pregnant?: I couldn't believe it... I had to go back and look at the test multiple times! Month after month of seeing that negative sign, and finally there was a plus sign!

How did the Father react?: He was extremely scared and nervous, just like he is with every big change... but the further along I got the more he warmed up to being a daddy... and he is a GREAT daddy!

How did your parents take the news?: My mom started crying (from joy) and my dad asked "What's for dinner?" LOL, if you knew my dad you'd understand! He didn't have a clue what was going on, and when he figured it out he had a big goofy grin on his face and said, "NOOOO!"

How did you feel about your first ultra sound?: It was amazing! We were a little concerned at first because apparently there was an extra sac and they wanted to make sure there wasn't another baby in there! Justin about died when they said there was another sac in there!

When I heard the heart beat for the first time?: I was so relieved! After trying for so long I was nervous that it was too good to be true, she's our little miracle baby!

What month did you find out the sex of the baby?: 19 weeks
Where you happy about the sex of the baby?: Very much so, in the beginning I wanted a boy, but having a girl ended up being PERFECT!
What were your cravings?: Pineapple and Justin's homemade boneless hot wings!

Did you exercise when you were pregnant?: Yea right! I was so sick my entire pregnancy I basically lived in my bed. No kidding. I wasn't on bedrest and ended up in my bed anyways. Morning sickness is NOT MORNING sickness... it's ALL day sickness!

How much weight did you gain?: I didn't gain any weight, I actually lost weight!

Did you get morning sickness?: I was sick before I knew I was pregnant up until about 32 weeks.

Did you enjoy wearing maternity clothes?: Some, the pants were much more comfortable, and I really liked a few of my shirts... but generally I wore my regular clothes if I could

What books did you read when you were pregnant?: Anything I could get my hands on... every pregnancy book, every pregnancy website, I LIVED in my bed like I said before, so I read EVERYTHING.

Did you attend any pregnancy classes like LaMaza?: Yes, and Justin complained every time! LOL! I didn't really learn much sadly, I think all my reading accomplished everything I would have learned during the classes!

Overall...Describe your pregnancy?: I loved being pregnant, minus being sick all the time. I loved my pregnant belly, I loved feeling Elah kick, I loved how thick and soft my hair became, I was zit free... but I like having Elah outside my body more!

[[About the Delivery]]

How did you know you were in labor?: My water broke
Did your water break?: ...yes
What were you contractions like?: I didn't have any contractions until we got to the hospital 12 hours later and they started me on pitocin (I hate that stuff). The minor cramping I had prior to pitocin were nothing, the cramping I had in the first hour that they called contractions were nothing... then I had back labor. AWFUL.
How long were you in labor?: Water broke around 9pm Monday night, and I finally pushed Elah out at 9:07pm on Tuesday!

Epidural?: Yes, I could NOT take that back labor... the cramping in my abdomen was nothing compared to the back labor!

Who was in the delivery room with you?: J and Janelle

Was it an easy delivery?: I only pushed for an hour, and it wasn't bad at all! I could still feel her despite having the epidural (I appreciated that... one of the main reasons I did not want an epidural), and I only had a minor tear!
Did you cry during labor?: I cried when the back labor kicked in, most painful thing I have ever experienced. I didn't cry when Elah came out, I was so incredibly happy and TIRED, and it was so surreal that I didn't know what to do!

What was the first thing you said to your baby?: Hey Elah!

Who visited you and the baby at the hospital? Our parents, Janelle, Justin's nanny, and his parent's pastor.

Did you breast feed?: Yes, still do!

What was the first night being a parent like? It felt so natural... I was meant to be a mother!
Did you get sleep? No, I honestly didn't get any sleep until we got home... the nurses came in the room too often at night to get any rest.

When did you go home?: On Friday, New Year's Eve after dinner.

How old is your baby now?: She'll be 5 months in 10 days.

Still with the Father?: Happily and blissfully married :-D
Who does your baby look like know?: She looks a lot like me, but when she wiggles those eyebrows of hers... she looks just like her daddy!

Been Baptized?: No, I don't believe in baptizing babies... she needs to make that decision herself when she's old enough. However we are having a dedication next weekend!
Your baby's current milestone achievement?: She is a pro at rolling belly to back, her hand-eye coordination is improving, and I think any day now she'll be rolling back to belly!

Whats your baby's favorite thing to do? She loves to be worn, loves to eat, loves to shower, and LOVES to be held!

Whats your baby's favorite toy? Penny, a stuffed pink penguin

What is it like being a parent?: It's phenomenal! Everything I dreamt it would be and more... of course there are bad days and good days, but the good days far outweight the bad!

Ready for another one?: YES! But that won't be happening for quite a while according to J!

3 Months!!!!!!

That's right! My sweet baby girl is 3 months old as of 9:07pm! I can't believe it! Ugh! TOO FAST! AND 3 more days until vacation!!! WOO WOO! There's not much to tell that I haven't already talked about on my blog... she rolled over from belly to back twice last week, she is cooing a LOT and laughing a little. She is in love with I love Lucy, LOL, and I am more and more in love with her everyday!

I stole this off of a fellow mommy blog... it's another survey. I know. I do these a lot. It passes the time when I can't sleep though! LOL!

Getting to Know MOMMY!

1. If you have pets, do you see them as merely animals or are they members of your family?

We have Snickers and Mudgett. They were my babies before Elah came along... but now they're just dogs. I still love them and think they are great (atleast most of the time), but they don't even come close to Miss Elah!

2. If you could have a dream come true, what would it be?
I would love to find our dream home at a decent price before Summer 2012... atleast three bedrooms, hopefuly atleast two bathrooms... a huge laundry room, a great fenced in backyard, a large porch, a stainless steel kitchen for my hubby, and a neighborhood safe for my kids to grow up in!

3. What would you do with a billion dollars?
Pay off school loans and other debts, buy our dream home, make a college fund for Elah (and enough for future kids), and pay off our parent's debts and help Nanny with anything she needs. The rest would be split between savings and various charities.

4. What helps to pull you out of a bad mood?
The quickest thing... seeing Elah smile. Nothing pulls me out of a rotten mood better than that!

5. What is your bedtime routine?
We try to do tummy time or some sort of play time from 7-8pm, and then she usually starts fussing, so we get her ready for a bath/shower. I usually nurse her while we are in the shower, if she decides she's hungry, and just soak in the water after we wash her to relax her. We get her dried and dressed in her jammies and then we go lay down in the bed and if I didn't already nurse her in the shower, I nurse her until she falls asleep. If I already nursed her then I pop the pacifier in her mouth and lay down with her and snuggle until she falls asleep... transfer her to her co-sleeper and then we're done for the night! Now... with that said... the last few nights have NOT gone that way because baby girl is teething :( but usually that's how it goes!

6. What activities did you do in high school? If you could go back, would you do the same stuff or something different?
I was in marching band, symphonic band, chambor choir, jazz band, BETA club, FCA, student government.... and then I was involved with our church youth group, the youth praise band, the adult praise band, I played in a blues band... and I think that's it! I would do the same stuff, it was a wonderful learning experience through it all!

7. What kind of books do you read?
I'm not gonna lie. I LOVE juvenile/teen fiction... like all the vampire series: Twilight Saga, House of Night series, Vampire Academy series, and Blue Bloods.... yea really. I love Percy Jackson... 39 Clues, and there are so many more. I also like Karen Kingsbury's books... she's a GREAT Christian fiction writer. I LOVE to read... and can't wait to start reading with Elah!

8. How do you see yourself in 10 years?
I hope to have 3 more kids by then, homeschooling the ones old enough, living in our dream home, and possibly finishing or starting on my Master's!

9. What's your fear?
That something would happen to Elah that I can't control, that someday I won't be able to stay home with my children, and that it will take a LONG time to have another baby when we decide to TTC again.

10. Would you give up all junk food for the rest of your life for the opportunity to see outer space?
Hm. No. I have no desire to get in a ship and shoot through the sky into a no gravity zone. I like my feet firmly on the ground thank you!

11. What's the first thing you do when you wake up?
Which time? LOL Elah wakes up 3-4 times before we get up for the day... those are all between 3-9am. The first few times I change her and nurse her and then cuddle with her til we both fall asleep. When we get up for the day I get Elah nudey and we do tummy time and play until she's too tired to play anymore. I dress her for the day, nurse her, and then she naps!

12. If you could change one thing about your significant other, what would it be?
LOL! Hmmmm.... I'd change his hairline so that he'd have more hair upfront....

13. If you could pick a new name for yourself, what would it be?
I used to really hate my name, but it's MY name... common or not!

14. If you could choose between six months of sun or six months of rain, what would you choose?
WARM SUN.... I'm so tired of rain/snow/sleet and cold weather!

15. If you could only eat one thing for the next 6 months, what would it be?
Hot Wings!!!!!
16. What is the thing you enjoy about blogging the most?
I love that my family who live out of town can get updates on Elah, I love that I can vent freely because it's MINE... and I love that someday Elah can read this and see how much we truely wanted her and loved her!

17. Do you prefer salty or sweet food?
Sweet please!

18. What items are in your purse right now?
There's nothing in it... when I DO carry it I usually throw my wallet, a pen, the checkbook, chapstick, antibacterial gel, cell, keys, and nursing pads in. Now... I usually carry Elah's diaper bag... and it usually has 2 cloth dipes (or more if we are going to be gone all day), a pouch of cloth wipes, wipe solution, antibacterial gel, extra paci's, gas drops, tylenol, nasal drops, wet bag, change of clothes for Elah, nursing pads, lanolin, my cell, my wallet, keys, a water bottle, and my wallet bible :)

19. Name 3 things on your bucketlist?
Have 3 more kids, travel to Europe, take my kids to Disney World!

20. What do you watch on television that you shouldn't?
Haha! Probably everything...!

Who I Am and What I Want to Be

**Disclaimer** Sorry this post is SO long, I've been working on it for a few days... if you read this and blog here is the challenge. WHO ARE YOU? Write a blog about who you are, and then add 50 facts about yourself... you never know what you might learn about You!


I have changed drastically in the past few years... DRASTICALLY. I chose to grow up a little faster than my peers and accept more responsibilities. I moved out young, got married young, and at 22 I became a mother! So I'll say it again... I have changed drastically. The biggest changes have developed since Elah was born, and I am incredibly proud of the woman I am becoming... so who am I?

Disciple
First, and foremost, I am a follower and disciple of Christ. I hope to live my life walking in His footsteps, spreading His word, and raising my children in a home that lives and breathes Christ. I am by no means perfect, and I stumble every day in my walk with Christ. I forget to read my bible everyday, I forget to thank God for all of His blessings. However... I am forgiven.

Mommy
I am a mother, a new one in fact, who is learning exactly what it means to love unconditionally. I've become a fierce mama bear who defends my choices in raising my daughter, who isn't afraid to say NO anymore, and I am confidant in the choices that Justin and I are making pertaining to Elah and our future children. I choose to cover my daughter's cute little tushie in cloth, I choose to only breastfeed my daughter even if it means less sleep and less time to myself. I wear my daughter more often than not in my MobyWrap, and she sleeps on my chest every night... and despite the fact that I don't get as much sleep this way, I'm really ok with that. I plan on making Elah's baby food, and raising her on organic foods... and even though I'm going to school to be a teacher and even though my mom works as an assistant teacher for a public school, I am 99.9% sure we will be homeschooling my daughter.

Wife
I am a wife, a homemaker, a friend, a lover, and a partner for life to an amazing man. I may not always keep the house clean, or keep up with the laundry like I should... but he loves me anyways! I get grouchy, I'm impatient, and I drive him bonkers sometimes... and still... he loves me.

Student
I never get tired of gaining knowledge... even if the classes I am taking at the moment do not pertain to my major. I look forward to taking what I've learned and using it to educate my own children and other homeschooled children in the future. I'm hoping to use my degree to tutor homeschooled students, help them with testing, and perhaps teach homeschool groups in the future.

Musician
I've described myself as a musician longer than I've described myself as any of the above (with the exception of disciple). I write music, sing music, play music, live music, breathe music... I just love music. I play music to worship, I sing music to relax, I write music to vent... it's everything!

That's who I am. I am a different person than who I used to be. I am PROUD of the person I'm becoming.

1. I constantly have a song in my head... there is not a moment that goes by that I'm not singing or humming a tune... whether that's outloud or silently!
2. I'm working on making my home and family "green".
3. My daughter has a cloth booty... except at the moment. She is not yet chunky enough for the majority of our stash!
4. I use a Diva Cup... ok maybe a little TMI, but seriously... ditch the tampons and pads and try it. You'll never go back!
5. I enjoy paying bills... I don't enjoy seeing the money go away, but something about writing out checks, and knowing that all those bills are gone until next month is rewarding.
6. I'm slightly OCD. But only about certain things... like my closet, Elah's room, and my school work/supplies.
7. I married a hardcore, serious, KISS freak. He's not as obsessed as he used to be, but he will always be my KISS freak :)
8. Nothing smells better than my daughter after her nighttime bath... love that sweet baby smell!
9. I have 2 families... my biological family and my Flint family... life wouldn't be the same without either family!
10. I exclusively breastfeed my daughter.
11. I am addicted to WAY to many tv shows... Grey's Anatomy, Bones, Secret Life of the American Teenager to name a few... and I'm not embarrassed by any of them. Pure entertainment and drama!
12. I love photographs, I love displaying them in my home... seriously... I have SO many pictures in our living room!
13. I love going hiking, I haven't been in quite a while, but I look forward to start doing it again when it's warm enough to take Elah!
14. I love clothes. I love buying clothes... I have too many clothes...
15. I've had my hair so long that it reached my tailbone... and hair so short it was only an inch long...

21. I like doing diaper laundry... I like sorting the inserts, stuffing the pockets, and putting the diapers away... perhaps that's the OCD in me?
22. I love the beach, but I hate the sand. I don't like the way it gets EVERYWHERE.
23. I got to meet my great-great-grandmother Matilda when I was a kid... she lived to 102!
24. I don't wear makeup, I don't think I need it. My husband loves me the way I am, and I could care less if anyone else things I'm attractive or not... so why not just appreciate my face the way God made it?
25. I want a minivan... yes. A minivan. Plenty of room for the 4 kids I'm planning on having!
26. I know how to crochet, with and without a loom, but I have no patience when it comes to crocheting... so I stick to hats.
27. I've given up on my daughter sleeping in her bassinet... she can sleep on my chest as long as she wants. I know she won't be sleeping on my chest when she's 10... and she won't be this little forever. So I'm enjoying the extra snuggles while I can!
28. I hate snow. I hate the cold, the wet, and that it means I'm stuck in the house until it melts and the roads are safe. Ugh.
29. My husband and I danced to "Forever" by KISS.... and as we walked back down the aisle together "Rock n Roll All Night" played. Told you I married a KISS freak!
30. I broke my leg "snowboarding" in my yard in 6th grade... my lame attempt of snowboarding involved a sled and our dog, Rags. Bad idea!
31. I hate throwing things away, but I force myself to do it... especially after watching Hoarders. I would never be that bad, but it scared the pee outta me!
32. I had to learn how to be flexible when I gave birth to my daughter... I learned that not everything goes as planned! My natural birth turned into me having terrible back pain and getting an epidural. I'm really ok with my decision!
33. I have never had a normal animal. Every dog, cat, gerbil, guinea pig, etc. that I have owned since childhood has been wierd. Ask my mom...
34. I never thought I would be in a traditional family. I always thought I'd have to work and send my children to daycare... I am thankful and incredibly blessed to be able to stay home with my daughter!
35. I would love to live at the beach, however, I have a huge fear of hurricanes and tornadoes... so I won't be leaving the mountains anytime soon!
36. Some of my closest friends are scattered across the country... and I've never met them face to face. They are my "supportive sisters" who have been by my side since J and I started TTC in 2007... thank you Babycenter for bringing us together!
37. In high school I burnt noodles... meaning I couldn't cook worth a flip. Thanks to my husband I can now cook pretty well!
38. I have an obsession with books. I love books. I read the same books over and over again, and never get tired of it. My kids will have a library of books by the time they graduate college and get married.
39. I love owls.
40. My baby shower was in October... the thank you cards are still sitting on my bookshelf... procrastinate much?
41. In high school I wore flood pants, capris with chains and zippers, black tshirts (and only black tshirts), wore ties as belts and put blue gel in my short spiky hair. What was I thinking?
42. I want 4 kids, but I'm really hoping and praying that future pregnancies are easier than my first... 32 weeks of "morning" sickness was NOT fun.
43. I hate feet. No, I despise feet. Feet are gross.
44. I did not inherit my mom's craftiness... I am too much of a perfectionist, so quilting and sewing are really hard for me to do... I'm too obsessed with getting everything straight and perfect!
45. I love coffee and coca cola... and since I'm breastfeeding I'm not drinking them anymore unless they're decaf. ::Sigh::
46. I hate doing dishes, so I got a dishwasher. His name is Justin.

Total weight gain/loss: I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight as of Thursday.



Maternity clothes? I'm uncomfortable, so I avoid wearing jeans... even maternity jeans if possible. Sweats and pjs are SO much more comfy!



Stretch marks? same old same old



Sleep: Well... I've gotten up between 5:30am-8am every morning... then I fall back asleep a couple hours later for about 2 hours EVERY day. This morning, J woke me up at 4:30am to say Merry Christmas... and I'm still awake. I'm sure I'll crash at some point.





Best moment this week: Seeing my family for our annual Christmas Eve get together... can't wait for Elah to meet everyone!



Movement: She's running out of room... constantly have knees and feet jabbing me in the sides and ribs!



Food cravings: Fruit... particularly pineapple



Gender: Pretty pretty princess...



Labor signs: Still have minor menstrual like cramping, occasionally lower back pain... haven't lost anymore of my plug since about Wednesday. I'm really hoping to start seeing some more definite signs soon.



Belly button in or out? It officially sticks out just enough to see it through a tshirt. But it's still an innie/outie lol



Wedding rings on or off? Still wearing my "replacement" ring



What I miss: Seeing my feet, cold lunch meat sandwiches, jeans w/buttons and zippers to hold them up, all my hoodies that won't fit over my bump



What am I looking forward too: Holding her, loving on her, meeting her...



Weekly Wisdom: I'm sticking to what I said last week... It's really ok to whine and complain... no matter what anyone says. If it makes you feel better, then WHINE AWAY MOMMA!

38 Weeks

How far along? 38 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: I've gained 3 lbs this week...  so I'm 1 lb above my pre pregnancy weight.

Maternity clothes? I'm still able to wear a few of my pre pregnancy tops, and I've found lots of button ups that work now and will work great for breastfeeding!

Stretch marks? No new ones... but I still have a ton.... ugh.

Sleep: I sleep for about 5 hours every night and then cat nap off and on until about 11ish everyday. The sleep isn't consistent enough for me to get full rested though, but I guess I should just be thankful that I'm sleeping at all!

Best moment this week: Elah actually cooperated for my NST today! Aunt Janelle told her she had to cooperate, and she listened... lol!

Movement: She is kicking me in the ribs right now actually... and it hurts :-\ If I press against my ribs she just kicks harder, I was hoping it would make her move away, but no luck! I'm so ready to feel her kick OUTSIDE of my body lol!

Food cravings: Greasy, gross, unhealthy crap... and SWEETS! Janelle, J, and I made oreo truffles and peppermint bark today :-D

Gender: Pretty pretty princess...

Labor signs: Menstrual like cramping... but its not radiating to my back... but hopefully, HOPEFULLY it means she'll be here soon!

Belly button in or out? When my belly is super hard, its almost flat.... when my tummy is normal (like right now) it's still an inny.

Wedding rings on or off? I'm wearing my "replacement" ring... and it fits perfect now... which could be from my weight gain or perhaps my hands are slightly swollen.

What I miss: Sleeping on my tummy, laying on the couch with Snickers lounged on my belly (she's a freaking heater!), sweet sweet bear hugs from my Jesse bear.... it's just not the same with Elah in the way! LOL!

What am I looking forward too: VACATION. We are taking a trip to TN with our favorite Flint family in May... I CAN'T WAIT!

Milestones: I went over my prepregnancy weight? LOL Not much happened this week except for that!

I wish I had found this earlier in my pregnancy... would have been neat to keep up with! I guess maybe I can do it each week until she's here... which hopefully will be SOON!

Total weight gain/loss: It has fluctuated the entire time.... as of my last appointment I was 2 lbs under my starting pre pregnancy weight!


Maternity clothes? I can only wear maternity pants (unless I'm home in pjs or sweats), but the majority of my tops are just regular shirts or sweaters I can wear after I have Elah as well!

Best moment this week: Finding out I'm 1cm dialated... not that it really means anything. I could be 1cm now until 40 weeks+, but I'm thinking positive!



Movement: She moves when she feels like it! At my NST on Friday she tried to sleep the entire time... ofcourse when the nurse would move the sensor thing, Elah would kick the crap out of it and go back to sleep. And as soon as my appointment was over and I got to the car... she was moving all over the place! How stubborn!





Food cravings: Today I craved Taco Bell... the rest of the week I've been devouring fruit and Dr. Pepper.

Didn't sleep well last night... slept pretty late... and now I don't really feel like doing anything but sit in the bed and stay warm (because its flipping freezing despite having the heat on!). 25 Things About Me...

So I did this for facebook... but I decided to do a different one for my blog. So yay :)

1. I am a fulltime student taking 2 evening classes and 3 online classes.... plus an online lab. This semester is kicking my butt reading wise, but other than that I'm getting straight A's so far :-D

2. I met my husband when I was 17, married him when I was 19... so I was young. But it was also the best thing I have ever done. I am truly blessed!

3. I am blessed to work for the Flint clan... aka my Flint Monsters... which if you know me or read my blog then you know that Joseph is 8 and he is an incredible little boy. Jesse & Joyann are 5... almost 6 (but I told them they weren't allowed to turn 6) and they are pretty amazing. Jesse is sweet and caring and a little bit of a male diva ;-) and Joyann is 90% tomboy and 10%princess... atleast for now. James & Jonathan are a little over a month old and they are just precious! They poop and toot on me all the time... but I guess I can forgive them!

4. I am a teacher to be. I plan on teaching kindergarten or first grade hopefully... and I can't WAIT! Now I just have to make a final decision on whether I will be going to Western or UNCA or even possibly Mars Hill for my last 2 years of school!

5. I am shy and outgoing, loud and quiet, patient and impatient... it just depends on where I am and who I'm with!

6. One of my greatest fears is that I will never have children. I want to be a mommy so much that it just makes that fear so much greater. However... I know that God is completely on my side, and that when my time comes He will decide what is best for me.

7. I'm not and will never be a homemaker. I just can't do it. I don't mind doing laundry occasionally... or even washing dishes... vacuuming.... but not all the time. Which is one of the reasons why I love my husband sooooo much. He LIKES to clean AND he likes to cook. Yea. God definately knew what He was doing when He created my hubby to be :-)

8. Now with number 7 said... the wierd thing is that I am a total neat freak and organization junky when it comes to my office, school work, etc. Everything has a place. My notebooks are organized. My folder of assignments is highlighted according to class. OCD is my friend when it comes to school for sure!

10. I'm really bad to start projects (particularly crafty ones) and not finish them. At the moment I have 6 unfinished knitted hats... 2 blankets that are sewn but have not batting or backing... and 20 bazillion squares cut out for another quilt. I also have scrapbook pages half finished, hemp necklaces halfway finished.... and new projects spinning in my head that I would love to accomplish. Eek!

11. How do some women get up early enough to shower, dress up, apply makeup, fix hair and look so incredibly beautiful? I'm sorry... but not only do I like my sleep... but I'd rather go to work in my pajamas. HA!

12. I really like my boots. I have a pair of polka dot rainboots and a pair of black copy cat uggs. My parents pick on me, my brother picks on me, my inlaws pick on me... but I don't care. They're comfortable! And my feet stay dry when it rains!

13. I would much rather color, play with playdough or play Pretty Pretty Princess then go get drunk or high. I enjoy being a kid and I like having control of my body. Thank you very much.

14. I have diarrhea of the mouth sometimes... especially with my mom and Justin. Sometimes I get going, especially if I'm upset or angry... and I just can't stop talking. That's just me...

15. Being the wierd person that I am... and a little OCD... Justin and I have already picked 4-5 names for babies (both male & female). However... we have first and middle names... just not together, lol! 16. I only have a few friends that I really trust... Justin is my rock, he is everything I could have ever wished for and he knows more about me then I know about myself. Hannah is the only friend I have left from high school and she brings out the kid in me. Janelle is my cheerleader, I know that no matter what choices I make she is always by me and I know that I can count on her for anything (she's also going to be my breastfeeding coach... she SO owes me ;-) ). Stephany lives too far away but she's always a text message or instant message away if I need a heart to heart.

17. I tend to overplan. I like to know EXACTLY what I'm doing, when I'm doing it... and where. Vacations are great... but I really do overplan.

18. I <3 my guitar. You know that bumper sticker that says, "Have you hugged your guitar today?" Why yes, yes I have!

19. I have 2 dogs. Snickers is a doodle and she is the sweetest, gentlest dog I have ever had. She's well behaved and I adore her. Mudgie... oh Mudgie. This dog will be the death of me. I adore him, really I do... but he can NOT control his bowel movements. UGH. He's also really attached to me and if he's not following me around the house all day then he's whining because he can't get to me. Someday.... someday I hope Snickers will rub off on him! LOL

20. I don't go to church every Sunday but my faith is one of the MOST important things in my life. We have yet to find a church that we feel suits both my husband's and my needs... and really the needs of our future children. It's disappointing... but I've found that some of my best times in worship is alone, with my guitar, and some praise and worship.

21. I would really love to move to Fort Walton Beach in Florida. This is where my uncle lives... and where we honeymooned and have vacationed at. It's absolutely beautiful and it's not entirely touristy like you would expect. HOWEVER. I am deathly afraid of natural disasters... tornados and hurricanes being the top two... so that will NEVER happen.

22. I have really really wide feet. Like seriously, it is such a pain buying shoes, especially dressy sandals and heels. I really like wearing heels (when I dress up that is)... and I would love to buy some dressy heeled boots... but not only are my feet wide but I have tree trunks for calves. Not just because I'm chunky and have more to love... but the muscles I have in my calves are ginormous from my years playing soccer. Ugh.

23. The hottest thing EVER is watching my husband jam on his guitar. Really. He is AMAZING.
