Day 9: Worst Cooking Disaster
In all honesty, I haven't really had a cooking disaster. I have an almost disaster though! Our first Thanksgiving as husband and wife was pretty interesting to say the least. We decided to make an entire meal all on our own and we were incredibly excited! The first thing we did was was the turkey, Justin pulled all the yucky stuff out, and we prepared to put it in a turkey bag before putting it in the pan. STUPID us thought it would be a good idea to hold the bag open over the floor and drop the turkey in... needless to say, the turkey went SPLAT on the linoleum floor! LMBO! What's worse is that instead of being practical and just picking the turkey up, re-washing it and starting over.... we called our mothers in a panic. Brilliant. In the end, everything turned out well though!
